Great news for Raine’s audio book fans! Audible.com will be producing the audio book versions of CON & CONJURE and ALL SPELL BREAKS LOOSE! I’ll let you know when I have the release dates.

In the February issue of The Writer magazine, I have my regular column on page 10: “Writer’s Brain Gush: The hazards of too many words coming too fast.”

Also, the column I write for The Writer magazine (Dueling With Words) is available online. You can register for a free account and access not only my columns, but other content as well.

I thought I’d let y’all know extra early, so you can start making plans if you’d like to attend — I’ll be attending the RT Booklovers Convention in Chicago next April 11-15. When I have details on the panels I’ll be on, I’ll post them here. Hope to see & meet a lot of you there!

How to get signed copies of my books

Some of you have been itching to get your hands on actual signed copies of Con & Conjure — or any of my books. My local Barnes & Noble in Cary, NC, is here to help you out. In previous years, they’ve done it where you could order personalized and signed copies of my books. That turned out to be a bit of a logistical nightmare. However it’s easy for them to process copies that I’ve already signed.

You simply call the Cary B&N at 919-467-3866 and ask for a signed copy of Lisa Shearin’s Con & Conjure or any of my other books. Shipping is free with your B&N Member card (have your card handy to give your Member number to the bookstore staff when you’re on the phone ordering). If you’re not a B&N Member, there is mailing fee for shipping books (depending on method and location). For payment, have your credit card handy as well. It’s as simple as that. Hope that helps some of you out!

Book goodies galore

I have bookmarks, postcards, and bookplates for all of my books! If you want any free stuff, just ask and you shall receive. Bookplates are book-sized stickers that I can sign and personalize to you, thereby giving you a signed copy. If you’d like a personalized bookplate or other goodies, just send me an email with the name you’d like them personalized to and a mailing address, and I’ll get that in the mail to you ASAP.
